About Cotton Baby

Gentle, breathable clothing designed to care for delicate and sensitive skin from the very beginning

Cotton Baby was created with a simple belief — that what touches your child’s skin should be as gentle and natural as possible.
As a parent, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by labels, materials, and choices that don’t always feel clear. Many clothes are described as “soft” or “cotton-rich”, yet still contain synthetic fibres that may not be suitable for delicate or sensitive skin.
Cotton Baby was created to offer something simpler — clothing made from 100% cotton, designed with care, and chosen with intention.

Our Story

Cotton Baby was created from a simple belief — that children deserve clothing made with comfort, care and honesty from the very beginning.

As a parent, I know how overwhelming it can feel to choose the right clothing for a baby or child, especially when so many items are described as soft or cotton-rich while still containing synthetic fibres. I created Cotton Baby to offer something simpler: 100% cotton clothing chosen with intention, designed for delicate and sensitive skin, and built around the values of comfort, quality and trust.

Our mission

To help parents make more confident choices by offering gentle, natural clothing for babies and children.

What we stand for

Comfort, honesty, quality, simplicity, and care in every piece we create.

Our vision

To build a trusted British children’s clothing brand that puts comfort, quality and care at the centre of everything we do — growing with families from babies to children.

“Cotton Baby is about choosing better — for our children, for their comfort, and for the values we pass on.”

What We Stand For

At Cotton Baby, everything we create is guided by a simple set of values — comfort, care, honesty, and intention.

We believe parents deserve clarity when choosing clothing for their children, without confusion around fabrics or hidden blends. That’s why we focus on 100% cotton, chosen with purpose and designed for delicate, sensitive skin.

Every piece is created with thought — not just in how it looks, but in how it feels, how it wears, and how it supports your child every day.

Our commitment to you

At Cotton Baby, our commitment is simple — to always put children first.

We are committed to using 100% cotton fabrics, carefully chosen for comfort, breathability, and everyday wear. We believe parents should never have to question what touches their child’s skin.

We are committed to transparency — being clear about what our products are made from, how they are designed, and why they are created.

We are committed to quality over quantity — creating pieces that are made to last, to be worn, loved, and passed on.

And as we grow, we remain committed to doing things the right way — with care, responsibility, and purpose in every decision we make.

When You Wish Upon a Star charity logo proudly supported by Cotton Baby

Giving back is an important part of what Cotton Baby stands for.
We are proud to support When You Wish Upon a Star, a charity that brings hope, joy and unforgettable memories to children living with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Their work goes far beyond a single moment — creating experiences that stay with families forever, offering comfort, strength and something truly meaningful during the most difficult times.

Rupert Smith with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC), an extremely rare neurological condition affecting around 1 in a million children.

Our First Collection will be Dedicated to Rupert Smith

Rupert is a 9-month-old baby from North Wales who has already captured the hearts of so many. With his bright eyes and gentle smile, he brings joy to everyone around him — even during the most difficult times. His journey hasn’t been easy, but his strength and spirit shine through every single day.

Rupert has been diagnosed with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC), an extremely rare neurological condition affecting around 1 in a million children. It can cause sudden episodes of paralysis, seizures, and breathing difficulties, often without warning. These episodes are frightening and unpredictable, meaning Rupert needs constant care and close monitoring.

While there is currently no cure, ongoing research offers hope for better understanding and treatment in the future.

As a family, they are now fundraising to give Rupert the best possible chance by accessing specialist treatment in the United States. This care could make a meaningful difference to his quality of life and future, but it comes at a significant cost.

Every donation, share, and message of support brings them one step closer to getting Rupert the help he needs — and giving him the brightest possible future.
