1. Your Legal Rights (UK Consumer Law)
Under UK consumer law, when you buy goods online you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them to us. We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the return.GOV.UK
This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.
2. Our Returns Window
If you choose to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of receiving your order provided the items are unused, unworn, in original condition, in original packaging, and with any tags still attached.
3. How to Return an Item
To start a return:
- Email support@cottonbaby.storewith your order number and what you’d like to return.
- We will send you return instructions and a return shipping label.
- Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
4. Return Costs
Unless the item is faulty, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service to protect against loss.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you whether the return was accepted.
- If accepted, we will refund the amount to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the items.
- Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund.
6. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us immediately at support@cottonbaby.store. We will assess the issue and offer a refund or replacement as appropriate.
7. Exceptions
Certain items cannot be returned, such as:
- Perishable goods (e.g. food, plants)
- Custom or personalised products
